About your role
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality software and making sure every feature truly fits the business? We’re looking for an experienced QA Tester to join our growing tech team in Lisbon, Portugal.
We’re expanding our QA team of two by adding another passionate professional who will help us take our quality to the next level.
As a QA Tester, you’ll make sure that what we build is not only technically solid but also truly valuable to our users and the business. You’ll go beyond pure testing, representing the client and business perspective, ensuring we’re solving the right problems and maintaining a clear flow of communication between users, support, and developers.
Your input will directly shape how our systems evolve, helping us deliver better software and smoother experiences every single day.
What you’ll do
Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Developers to ensure business requirements are fully understood and tested
Define and execute test plans and test scripts for new features and changes
Perform manual, regression, and exploratory tests across OutSystems applications
Validate that UI/UX and functionality meet business expectations
Participate in triaging support tickets, identifying, reproducing, and logging issues accurately
Escalate software issues to the development team, and guide or assist users when issues are not related to the software itself
Contribute ideas to improve product quality, processes, and communication flow
Support the introduction of test automation within the QA process
What we’re looking for
3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with OutSystems applications
One or more QA/testing certifications (ISTQB or similar
Good understanding of the OutSystems Platform and its testing approaches
Experience with manual and regression testing; exposure to test automation is a plus
Strong understanding of business processes and how technology supports them
A proactive mindset with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and represent end-user needs
Fluent in English, written and spoken
