The art to planning a great journey is knowing and being able to combine different locations to build up a complete travel experience that shows you the essence of what a land can offer, and then within the time and budget you have available.
There is so much to see and so many highlights that it is very tempting to try to fit them all into one journey. Sometimes they do all fit because you have unlimited time, but for most people trying to squeeze everything in just means your journey is nothing more than a race past the “highlights”. Often these highlights are the commercial highlights and not necessarily the most beautiful scenery, the nicest place to snorkel or the best place to see the penguins.
With our local knowledge we offer honest advice on all the choices- what is worth seeing and what is overrated. We know when is the right time to visit or not to visit, what the alternatives may be and how to combine it into a perfect journey. We can combine the worthy highlights and recommend alternative locations possibly more beautiful, and far less busy to ensure you get to experience everything you would like, at a tempo that works for you.
You may have noticed we talk a lot about relaxed. During your travel you will be constantly seeing amazing scenery and experiencing new things. If you add on to that a rushed schedule staying only one night in each location, hours and hours driving every day, poorly planned flight schedules and too tight planning, it is very easy to become overwhelmed and over travelled. When you are travelling for several weeks a relaxed pace of travel is not just a suggestion, it is vital. This way you have time to get the most from your journey and live it to the full. As a bonus you come home relaxed and full of new energy.
Once we have sat together we will send you a first outline of your journey. Take a look through, ask any questions, and together we can make any changes. Once it is to your absolute liking we will make all arrangements for you- accommodation, activities, rental cars, ferries and flights.
